At Bun Hut, I ordered a chives & egg pancake, tofu gruel and a small plate of cauliflower/carrot/peanut combo they had in their display fridge.
Going by their name, Bun Hut, their specialty is likely, buns. I have yet to try their buns. I had two freshly made chives & egg pancake wrapped around crunchy cracker. There is some kind of bean sauce smeared inside the pancake that works really well with this combo - comparative taste-reference might be Marmite, but not quite. The bowl of tofu gruel consists of soft tofu in a dark brown vinegary broth with bamboo shoots and (mushrooms?) topped with sesame sauce, coriander, other yum stuff - I definitely recommend the tofu gruel + pancake combo. The cold celery, carrot, cauliflower & peanut in sesame oil salad provided a good contrast to this meal.
