Kung Fu Noodles is located on the corner of Dominion Road and Rocklands Ave in Balmoral. A new addition to the strong range of Chinese eateries in the area, Kung Fu Noodles is clean, quick, cheap and tasty to boot. This is my first introduction to Xi'An fare so I am unaware of how it rates in terms of authenticity but I thoroughly enjoyed the cumin lamb burger and freshly-made kung fu noodles at this joint.

Hey nzbc, I'm glad you tried it out! Yea, I noticed that the signboard actually reads "Shaolin Kung Fu Noodles" - that, coupled with the shaved heads - I reckon there must be some serious kung fu connection, I mean you couldn't be that committed to restaurant branding alone. Cool, I'll definitely try out the "Special Chicken" with some friends. Thanks for the tip.

Thanks for the recommendation - went to try it tonight. $67.00 fro 4 people. The kebabs were spicy, the special chicken was great. The chef makes the noodles to order. The chefs all have their heads shaved - Are they Monks?
